Love the World
18+ · Progressive Web App

Your world map. Only yours.

One-night stands, friendships, travel — as pins on a spinning globe. A passport stamp book for your love life that never leaves your phone.

Your data never reaches us. Literally, not as a slogan.

No account · No ads · Photos encrypted with you only · No server that knows your content

The promise

We cannot read your data. Not even if we wanted to.

Everything you type is encrypted on your device with AES-GCM-256 before it is even stored. The key is created on the device and never leaves it. There is no application server — the app is a static website that computes on your phone.

The backup goes into your Google Drive, into a hidden app folder, encrypted — the key sits next to it so you can restore without a code. We do not even see that the file exists.

And here are the limits

We ship the code
A malicious update could siphon off the decrypted state. This is true of every web app and every native app with auto-update. Countermeasures: a strict content security policy, no third-party scripts, publicly auditable source code, signed releases.
An unlocked device is open
The encryption protects against cloud access, seizure and curious employees. Not against someone holding your unlocked phone. An app lock via biometrics is coming for that.
Your Google account is the key
Lose access to your Google account and the backup is gone. There is no “forgot password” with us, because we keep no copy — we never had one. And because the key sits next to the backup in your Drive, the encryption protects against us and strangers, not against Google itself.

How it goes

Three steps and your collection is live.

Tap a country

The globe swings the country into the centre and highlights it. 236 territories, real geometry, no dropdown list.

Place a pin

Three kinds — one-night stand, friendship, travel — plus an optional place, nickname, date, note and photos that stay encrypted with you. No surname, no handle — those fields do not exist.

The collection grows

Countries take on colour, your passport collects an entry stamp for every new country, 70 titles unlock — and every new pin surfaces a reality check about that country.

Reality checks

A travel destination to you. The law to the people who live there.

When you place a pin, the app shows one fact about the law there. The cards hit laws and regimes, never people. Your own country gets a card too.

Afghanistan Severe

Since 2021 girls have been banned from secondary schools. For longer journeys women need a male guardian (mahram).

Germany Restrictive

Marital rape was not a criminal offence until 1997. Parliament voted it through against the resistance of 138 members.

New Zealand Progress

In 1893 it became the first country in the world to give women the vote.

Pointing only outwards reads as arrogant. That is why Germany is on the same list. Every fact names its source once it is checked against primary sources — ILGA World, Freedom House, World Bank. Until then, the card says so.

70 titles

The mockery aims inwards. Always.

The app is allowed to be cheeky — about you. Never about the people your pins represent. The test for every title: could that person see the screenshot without being humiliated?

Collector’s Syndrome 40 pins, not a single one of them love. The app does not ask — but it does count.
Africa Is Not a Country 5 countries across at least 3 African subregions.
Home Game 10 pins in your own country. That, too, is a strategy.
Monogamy Mode Exactly one person for over 12 months. Counts as an achievement here too.
Final Boss: World Map All 236 territories. You have completed the app — please go home.

Price

The app is free. What you pay for is the insurance.

The globe is fun the first time. The fear of losing 200 pins from six years to one broken phone stays. That is what Plus is for — and nothing else.

€99 Free for now — start today and keep Plus for at least a year
  • Automatic backup to your own Google Drive
  • Restore onto a new device
  • Multiple devices in sync
Activate Plus for free

Always free: the globe, all three pin types, all 70 titles, every reality check. And until payment launches, Plus itself is free for everyone — including the backup to your own cloud.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. The app runs without sign-up, without email, without a password — your collection stays encrypted on your device. Only if you want the automatic backup do you sign in once with your own cloud (Google Drive). Even then we receive neither data nor keys.

What happens if I lose my phone?

With cloud backup enabled: sign in on the new device and your map comes back on its own — no code, no file, nothing to memorise. Without a backup the collection is gone, for us too: we hold no copy, because we never had one.

Can I add photos?

Yes — since August 2026. Photos stay with you alone: AES-256-encrypted on your device, backed up at most into your own Google Drive, and technically never part of share links. Location data is removed from the photo. Pictures of other people belong in your collection only with their consent.

Can other users see my collection?

Only if you share it yourself. There are no other users, no feed, no matching, no leaderboards — all of that would need a server that knows content. If you want to show something, you create an image or a link, and you decide before sending what it contains: names and notes are off by default.

Why not an app from the store?

As a web app there is no 15–30 percent platform commission, updates go live immediately, and nobody can remove the app for political reasons. You install it via “Add to Home Screen” — on iPhone and Android.

What does your server know about me?

Right now, nothing at all — there is no sign-up and no payment flow. Once payment launches, exactly three things get added: a Google account identifier, the subscription status and the expiry date. No email address, no name, not a single field from the app.
